Hey all,
I was wondering, is it possible for someone to use a nonturbo block, turbo head, and still retain the turbocharger with minimal problems? Reason why I'm asking is a friend is thinking of buying a 91 talon tsi awd but he was afraid that the previous owner might have swapped out the turbo block with a non-turbo block off of a junkyard or something. Is that possible? Also is there a way to tell by lookng at the engine, as it sits in the car, if the block is out of a turbo or not?
