Calgary,
Well the (hahn) early fuel kit arrived earlier this week so I decided to get everything on asap. A good friend of mine (legendboy) helped with the install and so far its great  however, I am having some issues with that shitty fuel pump. Its the external one and its a noisy pos, I was wondering if there is anyway to minimize this noise. Probably wrap it in Dynamat or something? :|

Also the bov (Greddy Type-S) I can barely hear, is this normal? If it is, great but I just wanted to make sure that is not hurting anything. :| The last thing I want is blow back. The bov isn't adjusted, it was just thrown on without setting.

Another issue is the AC lines, its very close to the downpipe, what should I do about that? I need to insulate it somehow.

I'll post pics tomorrow, I have a headache right now and its dark. :toobad:

Good job on the install!

Nothing you can do about the sound of the fuel pump. Turn your stereo up don't wrap it in anything.

You need to loosen the adjustment screw on the BOV, don't let it leak out air though. If you have it too tight, you will have compressor surge.

Bend your A/C lines back a little bit or just take the whole damn A/C out..You shouldn't need it in Canada, I only use mine a couple days out of the year and I live in Oregon. I took mine out :thumb:

the ac lines are close??? if this is so then wrap them in headder os something. i didn't use a greddy bov but my turbop xs was loud as shit at 5.8 psi.

i'll try that but what is headder?

So for the BOV, I should make it softer?

But yea I was debating about the A/C but sometimes it gets really hot here and stays hot for weeks.

Also one more question, I have tons of small parts left over from the kit, is this normal? They left out some clamps and a hose which I had to buy though OMG

you don''t need to recirculate.
Venting is fine
If you here a "flutter" sound when you left off the gas you need to make your type-s softer
the flutter sound is due to the compressor surging because the BOV is to tight or Harder.
