Remember, not everyone wants an insta-spool turbo. We are not all AWD, there are some FWD guys out there that don't need full spool time by 3000 rpm. And as far as your testing goes, I can't believe that lag on a 14b is ever intolerable. My turbo spools pretty fast, actually to fast for me.. so since turbo lag is what I want, I'll guess I'll save the money I was going to spend on a 20g and just port my 14b to 7cm. :rolleyes:
 
I dont know what your talking about with more lag by porting it to 7 cm. I ported out my old 14b and 2g manifold to 7 cm. and all i have to say is it spooled FASTER and had MORE top end. I was rather happy with the turbo for alittle while after the port job. But then it just came time for bigger :thumb:
