hey,

can anyone tell me what are the thread sizes of the sensors on a 1g thermostat housings?

My 95 GSX is swapped and i only use 2 of the sensors (engine coolant sensor & coolant sender) I want to take out one of the unused sensors and replace it with aftermarket water temp sender.

I'm hoping somebody knows the thread size of the A/C coolant switch, but the other unused ones will do.

Thanks.

I would just pull the housing, take it to your local store where you can find all kinds of bolts, and try some until you find what you need.

problem is I'm almost positive it will be NPT thread....so reg hardware bolts are a no go.

3/8 npt. Just did the aftermarket coolant temp gauge. Have a good one. Just make sure you use some teflon tape to make sure there is no leaks

What is NPT? I know my buddy removed his water cooled oil filter housing, and got a dry center turbo, and he went to Fast-n-all and they gave him some plugs that threaded right in. Not your typical hardware store though.
