i have a 94 eclipse gs, i have recently got a wrecked 92 gsx and am planning to take the gsx engine and put it in my car, i would like to know if i can use my gs transmission

from what a mechanic told me once i believe you can... I am not quite sure... If push comes to shove you can order a JDM galant VR-4 tranny that would work..

^^wtf? thats not even close to what hes asking. a gvr4 trans would be nearly impossible to come across anyways.

original poster: yes, you may use your trans.

thanks for answering my qustion, but i have another one
i just repalced the timming belt on my gs moter can i use it on my gsx moter?
:dsm:

the trans can be used if you use the nt flywheel and a more powerful nt clutch.

you can do the same with the timing belt.

for all the info you need on this go here:

also this should've been posted in the nt-> turbo forum where you would've seen 3 more threads just like this that i've already closed.
