with a 20g can't you get away with running stock injectors if your only gonna run stock boost? personally, i'd get what turbo you want now and don't run anymore than stock boost till you get your fuel/exhaust

Anyone know if this is true?
Cause I didnt really want a big turbo while most of my car is stock, but if this is true then it wont really matter.

Fuel is the only consern right now,
Exhaust is taken care of, 3" turbo back. (I'm sure this is the only time any guys would be proud of 3 inches)

I think a ported 2G20G from SBR sounds good.

I have decided against the 2g20g, cause it would be very hard to run a front mount IC with this turbo. The 90 elbow wielded on it will make it pretty damn hard to run the piping.

I think the evo3 16g is what I may go with, right now its alot more cost effective (about $500 difference), and is it also enough to meet my expectations.

that is unless I find a good 20g for the right price!! wink, wink, anyone?

This is what I have been thinking, the only bad thing. A 20g with internal WG will run me about $1,100 and I was trying to stay below $900.

Talk to the guys at Slowboy... I'm sure they could weld the elbow onto the 2G20G in the opposite direction so that it would work with the FMIC kit.

Well as of right now I dont have a front mount. I am still using the stock IC. I was just wanting a turbo with the pipe going straight down, that way I can use it for my side mount and then for when I get my front mount.

Think it would be possible to use the 2g 20g with my sidemount, then when I go to a front mount just cut the 90 degree elbow off? or cut it off and weld on a little piece of straight pipe? Heres a link to the 2g 20g, let me know what ya think.

I would think that would be possible. I would say just give them a call and talk to them about what you want to do and they can help you out. Just tell them you would like to get the 2G20G without the elbow welded on.

hey, im sort of in the same predicament as you are. i was looking at the 2g20g and it is designed for the sidemount and other fmics in stock piping location. so it would bolt up perfectly to a greddy fmic. the big greddy fmic is sufficient for 20g turbos imo and it is relatively cheap nowadays. i got mine used for 400. goodluck

Well I have just been checking out and talking to Hahn, about there Super 20g. Is there anyone who knows much about this turbo, or ever used a hahn turbo?

From what I have heard its pretty bad ass, and pretty cost effective. :thumb:

Hey thanks for this reply. I was actually talking to Hahn race craft and they told me the same thing. I didnt know there were very many Quality front mounts that worked with the stock piping location.

Your not looking to sell that FMIC by any chance are ya? ;)
