Right now I have a 16g with a walbro 255 and a aeromotive AFPR and an SAFC II

I have yet to install my 660cc injectors, so I still have the stock 390cc injectors because it is an automatic

What are some base settings I can put into the SAFC so that it won't run quite so lean?

It had a tendency to run slightly lean when it was stock. But it did have a hacked MAS and a MBC around 12 or 13 psi.

Right now with my 16g at 10psi, my fuel trims are about 130%, 115%, and 115%. I have been trying to get my low trim less lean than 130%.

Doesn't really matter, injectors are going in this weekend.

Why does my SAFCII never show any knock (always 0), yet my palm with MMCD shows knock in sometimes very high counts?

I have auto, what is a good way to do pulls for a log. I know they say to do 2000-7000 RPM pulls in 3rd with a manual, is there any special technique to an automatic?

What percentages should I set the Lo and Hi throttle? I have seen some say 30% and 70% and others say 69% and 70%

Like I said I have a SAFC II with a Palm with MMCD and a 92 Automatic AWD

I believe that the SAFC knock feature does not work on DSM's. Do a search on this one and you can see for yourself. The knock count on your logger however is accurate. As for logging, I do mind in second gear since third gear gets my car going way over the posted speed limits.

I thought that I had read that it could read knock on 1Gs but not on 2Gs, but it looks like that is wrong.

most people recomend setting the hi lo at 80 and 30. they dont have to overlap since it automaticly averages them for the inbetween values.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but since we're on the subject, i have a question.

I am putting in my EVO 550's this weekend, and i have read to set the base correction at -18% across the board and tune from there. So does that mean i would set both low and high settings at -18% then lean or richen according to my knock count on the log?

Correct, the knock count does not work on the AFC. Ignore it, that's what the logger is for.

For info on setting your points and for the guy putting in 550's read:

Oh and a good way to log an auto is WOT (obviously) from a good 15-20mph roll to however fast you can go, legally). If you get to a track, just log the whole run. There is no harm in logging more than the good info, you will just have to trim it out when posting the log.
