I just recenlty installed an SAFC in my car and have read, studied and research about tuning via safc. I understand the concept of the device, although still a bit wary when it comes to adjusting settings across the board both Lo and Hi.

Right now these are my mods:

Ported 14B
Ported 2G Manifold
Ported 2G O2 Housing
Test pipe
3" Apexi N1 Catback
Greddy Bov
Intake
Greddy Fmic 24R Intercooler
Walbro 190lph FP
NGKR 7ES
8mm Wires
ACT 2600
RRE Lightened Flywheel
Greddy EGT (not yet installed)
SAFC with Pocket logger
MBC set to 17psi

I am currently running on the stock injectors (450cc???) and have left the settings ZERO across the board. I have a few questions that Id like to ask some of you and if you could shed some light:

1. Do I have to set the LO settings on the SAFC even though I still have the stock injectors on? I would imagine that the ECU would take care of that since its programed to do so on 450cc. In other words, is it best to leave the LO settings at 0? Or should I at least try to get the STFT and LTFT close to 0 in my case (2g)? If my question here isnt clear, let me know.

2. Ive been told that 660cc injectors are sufficient for high boost applications on pump gas. I just wanted to make sure that the SAFC can compensate this amount of fuel with room to lean out? or is 550cc injectors the way to go as I have also heard from a few people.

3. Any tuning tips you guys can give a newbie?

You can leave the lows at 0 or maybe make a few corrections if needed to get the STFT to 0 and go with 660's so you don't have to upgrade later.

Do some logs and see if maybe you need at add abit of fuel in some area's.

STFT is? Canadian TSi on the Apexi SAFC II when setting the Hi's & Lo's +- does this mean you are giving it more/less fuel or more/less air? Thanks. :dsm:
