Hi everyone looking for help on tuning car with a GT40 W/1600 cc injectors w/w-a intercooler.Looking for some input on timing. We ran it on the dyno to get the a/f in line and timing was set to 20 [email protected] made around 420 hp which i beleive to be very low and conservitive. How agresive can I go with timing.

The type of fuel you are using makes a big difference for one.
That will be what your whole tuning procedure will let you know. Every car is different.
What is your target boost with the GT40?

Fuel was c116 and we will be going upto 40 psi, this motor has all the good stuff in it.We would like to sneak up on power vs going all out 1 time on the dyno.

20* sounds about good on that fuel and airflow you will be moving. But you can most likely get more, the only way to find out is hit the dyno and find MBT. I like to make about 10whp per 1* timing advance added. Once you get to a point where less than 10whp is being made when advancing you can pretty much say thats MBT. Anything past that is just causing stress on the motor that is not needed. IMO
