TunerPro help Please

Hi everybody I need some directions on how I need to use TunerPro....my situation - I’ve got a 1991 mitsi Galant Vr4 RS facelift edition...I have downloaded TunerPro to my laptop....I have a logging cable....what I want to do is just be able to see my sensors and rpms etc operating and also data log, I don’t want any of the editing info or anything else just the real basics... I have searched this and there’s stuff on bins and adx files etc and then there’s directions on how to edit and everything but none of that makes sense to me and I don’t want to edit or play with any settings, I just want to watch them, so can I just plug the cable into the port and then the laptop and it will come up straight away or do I need to set something up on TunerPro first? Can someone please help me...?...

Well with that attitude, good luck getting any help on here! Guess you also missed the page where you ment to respect other people help and such! Guess they dont teach you manners or respect in NZ then!

If you dont like someones help then go to youtube or learn yourself!

Dont swear at people who are trying to assist you with your problems, we have a very good knowledge base here so if you annoy them all then you wont get any assistance on this forum! (Then you will bad mouth us as a bad forum) but for your mistakes not ours!

You say I’m meant to respect people’s help and such? What help did he give me in terms of the question it states on the thread? Did he give me information on the question I asked? NO mate he did not, he gave me his stupid opinion and that’s not what I asked for, isn’t what he posted mis information cos it doesn’t relate to my problem and question, why don’t you re read the rules before enforcing them on me while someone else is breaking them directly above me, he also swore, what the hell mate, get a life! And no I don’t go around spreading mis information, everyone knows dsmtuners and dsm forums in the states are good for information, but everyone also knows people aren’t here to help and just want to be “heard” and voice there opinion, but when someone replies that what I asked for help with is Shit and it sucks balls then yea I’m gonna get pissed off, and then you come along and defend him! If he replied saying its hard to use then he clearly has used it, so his opinion will matter in a way, to be honest his might be one of very few replys because i dont know anyone using this stuff!

There is a ton of free or low cost Dsm tuning/logging stuff. However the communities that work with these free or cheap tools do not spoon feed. They encourage users to do their own research to figure out how to use the tools.

If you want support that will walk you through every aspect of using the product get link.

If you want to save money you’re going to have to spend time researching the tools you want to use.

Either way it’s going to be an investment, either time or money.

Throwing this out there if you plan to use tuner pro (I did now have link) to tune it sucks for logging it lags behind bad. I recommend mmcd to use for logging you can use a palm emulator on the laptop to use it. I highly recommend it over tuner pro. On tuber pro set up your adx and bins. Then hit the picture of a cable it's like data link or something along those lines then I believe a play button not by my laptop and honestly think I uninstalled it. Get mmcd it's more accurate and free.
Also watch the attitude this is the most helpful place and some of the most knowledgable people. But if you have that attitude no one helps.

Im also in the process of learning tunerpro you will not get spoon fed for sure. Learning hex, addresses, so I can set up my xdf file is the hardest. Somebody here was nice enough to set me up with a disassembly file for the rom image but I need just a little more direction. I don't want it done for me or I would have bought link
