tubular manifold question

How does a tubular manifold increase horse power? It would seem to me that the longer runners would make spool time increase.

Tubulat manifolds also have the gases coming in at a more optimal angle (usually straight at the tubine blades) And usually have more gradual turns.

If you took a 900hp dsm and put any EX manifold on there i bet the power wouldn't drop that much!!! All manifolds will support most power levels, it's were you want the power..sooner or later!!! I do agree though if you run a large turbo you should chose the manifold that gives the quickest spool, which in most cases is tubular....having said that, it depends on what you want!!
