Well i finally went ahead and installed this exhaust today and wow; what a difference. Before this was installed i was running header-Test pipe-Stock exhaust-N1 Style muffler and it made a shitty honda like raspy noise in the upper RPM level, but with a nice deep tone at idle.

This exhaust definately opened up a tiny amount of power up on the end, with very minimal low end loss. But the sound is amazing, just tiny amount of raspy sound when i first take off but i expect that to start to break in as some of that carbon coats the inside of those pipes.

Thats good to hear I hope to be investing in that Cat back system soon...I've heard nothign but good things about it!!!

If oyou can post up some videos so we get the idea of hwo it sounds.

Mine's a little bit raspy for about a minute when it's cold. After that it sounds great, nice deep tone.

the slight raspyness on mine never went away... well eventually it did but thats due to other modifications

yah dont worry im pretty close to installing my 1500$ resonator *cough* i mean turbo
that should help some with the raspy honda sound.

My raspyness went away too but it cost me a lot more than that. I just bought a 99 GSX!

(I'm still keeping the RS for now though)

I'll bet its the turbo it makes such a big difference in sound I have noticed. When I had my stock muffler it stopped rattling after I installed the turbo.
