This is weird, i was getting an all wheel alignment the other day and when they had the car lifted off the wheels they were spinning the rims to do something and when they spun the wheels only 3 would turn, and the driver side rear wasn't spinning when you would turn another. Is that bad?

We know that your center diff is LSD and the front diff is open but we don't know if your rear diff is LSD.

My 1995 & 1996 Talon factory brochures show the LSD as standard.

My 1997 Talon factory brochure shows the LSD as optional.

The 1998 Talon factory was not clear but I paid $266 (invoice) for the LSD on my 1998 TSI.

I don't know about the 94 TSI.

If your rear diff is LSD then something is wrong.

Generally, even if the rear diff were open, if you were spinning the right rear wheel, holding the driveshaft stationary the left rear wheel would turn in the opposite direction...

what happens when you try to spin the left rear wheel, does it spin free? thinking maybe you have a brake hanging up a bit?

^^ Check this out for sure. Another thought would be to grab the wheel that IS spinning and see if the non-spinning wheel starts to rotate once some resistance it applied to it's cohort. It's something I'd hesitate to do with the car running.. but maybe you can figure something out.
Often the system won't appear to be functioning as intended until resistance is applied, however, mine all spin as they're supposed to when in the air.
Let us know.

How can you be sure that the rear diff of a 1G is open? I know that the LSD rear diff was optional when I bought my 91 but was not available with ABS.

There is a way to test if the rear diff is LSD:

From Kewltalon: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/151735042-post10.html

LIMITED-SLIP DIFFERENTIAL CHECK
(1) Block the front wheels and move the shift lever to neutral.
(2) Completely release the parking brake.
(3) Jack up the rear wheels and place a rigid rack at the
specified part of the side sill.
(4) Disconnect the coupling of the differential and propeller
shaft.
(5) When one wheel is slowly rotated, check whether or not
the wheel on the other side turns in the same direction.
(6) If it turns in the opposite direction, replace the viscous unit.

So my car is a 94 with LSD rear. I thought it was really weird also, im not sure when i am going to be able to have it in the air again, so im not sure if i am going to be able to test it

My car has an LSD, and there is a sticker that says so in the drivers side door jamb. When I spin my rear tire, the other side spins in the same direction. When I spin my front tire, the other side spins in the opposite direction.

So i had my car in the air the other day and i got the chance to spin the tires again and this is what i found. When i spin the right rear wheel the back left wheel starts to spin the opposite direction then just stops. Like all that really happened is it turned like 1" and then lost grip on something and stopped spinning.

SO since it has a viscous LSD doesn't that mean that only both back wheels will spin at the same time as the fluid in the diff gets heated up or enough force is applied to the diff fluid that it hardens and causes is to be AWD?
