TSI AWD idle/throttle problem

just got the car it has bad lifters i am replacing but the car idles really rough at about 900 rpms but when the clutch is in the car wants to die... it will not rev over 3k it stops there i had a hard time getting on trailer cause car died a lot just trying to figure out some ideas i may have a small leak before the maf where the intake connects i havent messed with it yet but it looks like the gasket got twisted and it isnt completly tightend down other then that i do not have a clue i thought it may have been the bov but i replaced with the stock one and it still has the problem any answers?

its either a maf or ignition related issue. double check all components and report back with your findings
