Im using the MMCD software on my 1g and trying to log the coolent. My interior coolent guage is not working so I went to log it, to see if the sensor was working. I logged COOL in the choices and I get about 106 degrees. This is way off right? Shouldnt it be over 200

Use MMCD tools after you upload it to your comp. and view it in Excel using english units. (That is if you don't want to do the conversions over and over again)

Crusing I was at 104 and reached 106 which comes out to over 220* This is way to high, isnt it. Before my temp guage broke it was under the middle mark all the time. Also doesnt the ecu kick the fan in at 210 so if I was running this high wouldnt it run all the time. Which it does not, it only kicks on when im sitting at a light.

The ecu doesn't control the fan on a 1g, there is a temp switch in the bottom of the radiator that does that. It's set around 195 degrees.

Ok then well when I log I get over 220*. If this is correct the fan would always run. So why does it only run when I stop. Is the logger picking up wrong data. Also my guage on the inside doestnt work. Since the logger sees the coolent then my gauge on the cluster is broke not the sensor right.

No I did not thank you for the info

I would reply but I am not positive as to exactly how the whole system works, I have mine wired to a dash switch so I can turn it on whenever, I have it wired in a way that it still comes on when it is supposed too. Passenger side fusebox. Maybe this will help

Its under options, then preferences.Just open up mmcd the click on that bottom left icon on the screen(if you have it on palm).
