trouble starting/rough idle then ok

ok i searched and i didnt see anything exactly like what i have, my 1g tsi awd, sometimes it starts then dies, starts then idles VERY rough then dies and then when i start it again it idles rough then after a few mins it seems ok, i just put a new fpr(stock) and injector o rings on it, do i need new plugs and wires? any suggestions guys i need them asap the car is being sold in two days!!!!

recheck the work you did. you might have accidentally unpluged something. If its still there, try doing plugs and wire swap.


The car doesnt want to be sold, thats why its acting like it is.

When you removed your injectors to put in new o-rings you had to disconnect the injector plugs, right. Well the wiring that is for the injector plug harnesses has plastic connectors that combined wires before the plug and these connectors become very brittle and break causing the injector to not fire correctly due to a bad electrical current. So check for broken wiring on the injector harness because this has happened to me twice on two different injectors when I removed my fuel rail.

Not sure on the injectors, but a couple a bad plugs will give you "no power" trouble, I've been there.
