i need help with mounting the gauges and wiring ....
i got a boost gauge , oil pressure gauge, and volt gauge

I did everything on my Boost gauge myself.. Where are you mounting?

im mounting it on the goss i cant remember what it is called its a three gauge piller bod that goes on the part next to the window just ill see if i can get a pic of it on here

Can you please take an extra minute before you post to add some punctuation and fix the spelling in your posts? It's hard to figure out what you're even trying to say.

Ok, I did the single gauge pod install, what exactly do you need help with?

like getting the piller mounted. to me it looks like in order to mount it i have to go all the way to the back were there are some trim covers. that need to be taken off but i dont know how, with out breaking anything. then i need to know what wires i need to hook up so that the gauges are operational

Do you have the gauges yet? The intstructions that come with the gauges are very detailed.. For my single pod I had to take off the stock pillar, drill a hole in it for the wires. screw on the pod. Then I ran the wires through the side of the dash down to my fuse box and tied em into my fuse box, easy as that.

The wiring also depends on when you want the gauges to light. I personally like to tap the dimmer switch or fog light switch to wire mine. That way they light up when I turn the headlights on. Get a test light (very cheap) and you can easily find power wires.

ok so i got the piller off and i have everything ready to go just need to know what ground wire i should run. i'm thinking about using the ignitoin wire ? but i don't know if that would work ?

Why don't you just ground to the frame? I used the screw right next to my fuse box, Let me Know if you need any pics

K ill go take some in a couple minutes, just keep in mind my foot area is a little messy cause I have my wires tapping my fuse box OMG

ok how are you able to ground it to the car dont you need a power source?

You already have one in the +12v wire (usually red). The black wire can be connected to an already provided ground wire, or you run it to a screw/bolt somewhere on the frame, as that's where all the ground wires on the car eventually go to.

ground isnt for power, its ground, usually on a screw or bolt, the 12v power is a seperate wire

what series did you get? and if you have the triple pillar pod take your stock one off it just pops off. then screw the new one in. but before you do mount your gauges run your wires into the dash mount it then worry about what goes where

i have mine wired to the cruise switch so i can turn the lights off on them if they bother me at night. i had those gauges they are so easy to wire up. I just daisy chained my power and ground from the 3 then ran the power to fuse box and ground to a bolt. Btw i had autometer pro comp now hence how i can turn off the lights and the gauge will still function.

I have Killswitches on my gauge. 1 Killswitch for Backlight and 1 for Needle... I can make cool color combos with this aswell as turn them off whenever I need.
