Wow, that looks silly-fresh, son! I see in your profile that you have the Evo 3 16g. Have you dyno'd your car or logged any new runs since you installed it? I want to run the same turbo, but like most people, I'm having a hard time deciding what cooler to run. Those numbers seem good, but I don't know enough about the numbers to figure out what cooler CFM numbers are efficiant to turbo CFMs.

I'm using this local guy in my area.. I trust him becasue I've been friends with him as long as I've own my DSM.

These are the best FMIC I've seen made.. Just look at the endtanks on them. :thumb:

I ran my 11.544 @128 on that with my stock motor, stock 2G intake, and HKS 272/272

THose really are nice, but they're just a bit pricey compared to most..

That because the entanks are very expensive to make. Vs. The box ones that you see on most.. Investment casting is very expensive. But it's the best designed endtanks I've seen so far.. IMO worth every penny.

This is how I mounted mine. The bumper has been cut & you are looking at the drivers side. I drilled & tapped on the mounting block.

Nice lookin install :thumb: But, almost half of the core isnt exposed to the oncoming air. Is that gonna be a problem or what? I need to get rid of my Starquest FMIC sooner or later, but good core$ cost mad cash. :barf: :talon:

Im pulling my bumper back off sometime this week so il put up more pics but i just basically welded on an L bracket to the top, so it attaches to the bottom bolt extending down from my hoodlatch and then we welded another 45 degree L to the bottom so it bolted up to the lower engine support, real thick brackets to, that "somebitch" isnt going ne where.

also I didnt keep the front bumper support and yeah i have noticed alott of difference, some good and some bad, good being i boosted about 21 lbs but im running realllll lean right now so im gonna let the car sit until i get some bigger injectors, also it runs a hell of alot hotter, since it blocks the whole radiator, like b4 on a chilly night down here i would run at about 190 on the highway and lately with this thing i have ran at 200 to every once in a while i hit 205 but thats when i was real hott, but still its like 50 degrees outside and im on the highway doing about 80 so it shouldnt be cold AT ALL. ANd yes it is the same size as the one ebay and the dimensions u listed.

Actually only a few inches are covered by the bumper support. I also cut the bumper support to allow some air to reach the top.

This is how it looks on a 1G. I paid $185 shipped. I hope to get the piping done next week.
how did you get that to fit behind the bumper? Thought you would have to trim it. Do you have more pics of install

i know this is old, but im also using a treadstone i/c, im very happy with it.

only pic i have with bumper off, i had to toss the bumper support

Which size did you get? I see that they now have a 24x10.5x3.5 and 26x10.5x3.5 core :D
Judging by your pic it looks like if you swap the P/S endtank you'd be able to short-route it thru the radiator support with a 90deg bend :dsm:
