Hi guys, Just have a quick question. I already searched the forum but still have this kind of doubt. I have an eclipse RS 97 with automatic transmission. Well, I changed my transmission fluid recently. Almost everytime when i make a hard turn (fast) and stop immediately, my transmission is not engaged. it seems to be like it is in the N position which in fact, it is in the D position. I can't move my car...All i have to do is shift it to R or L and come back to D again then i feel like it get engaged again (feel it). I check the fluid level. It is ok. Do u have any ideas what the problem is? Thank you for answering my question.

Try looking at the nut and bolt that connect your linkage to the trans. I will attach to this reply what you are looking for on your trans, but the one in the picture is of the one that I had that broke....

Also something else that I found on mine, is that did you change your shift knob? When I changed out my knob I couldn't get the car to engage or disengage from gears. Try looking at the screw on the front side of the shifter.

Good luck

Thank you for the recommendation, 69 luv. I will check my linkage.
