Transmission vent / breather

Well I figured while I had the transmission out of the car I would give it a cleaning. Took it to the carwash to blow off the grime and clutch dust.

I get back home and noticed I lost the rubber vent that goes in the gear box. I can't find it and I can't find one at a parts store.

Does anyone know where I can find one.

Junkyard or the only places I can think of that sells something like that is an off road supplier.
They make 4x4 diff vent relocation kits. but I dont know how well those would convert over to a trans.

You likely have water in your transmission now also.

Yeah I though I may. I flushed it to remove the water and forced hot air through the case for 8 hours. To dry any remaing water.

Hey luv2rallye, Thanks for that part # !!! Just ordered 4 from http://www.jackstransmissions.com/products/breather Same vent goes in the transmission and t-case. Works for all years 89-99 DSM

You should have just hand washed it.... I wouldn't have trusted running that much water through my tranny. for future reference
