I installed my transmission today ( what a pain in the ass!) and somehow found the little black air breather laying on my garage floor when I got under the car to install the T-Case. I don't remember where the hell this little do-dad goes. Does anyone have a picture or can point me in the right direction to put this back on the tranny? It's the little black bulbous rubber thingy. I hope you know what I mean.

I hate this car some days. :sneaky: :talon:

Do you have a digital camera handy? If so, snap some pictures! ;)

I've installed these trannies many times, if you better describe the pice, I'll try to help you out best I can.

Thanks.

I finally figured it out. Took some digging in my manual, but I found it. It's #13 on page 21-23. I was burnt out yesterday, I guess. A renewed effort this morning yeilds syccess. Could be a good day! Go Steelers!!! ROFL :talon:

It goes in a hole above and to the left of the speedo cable on the tranny itself. Since it seems this would be helpful I will take a picture tomorrow to show the location. :talon:

Check this out to see the location.
