St. Catharines,
is their a spacer plate that goes in between the transmission and engine were the torque converter bolts up?

You have the Seperator plate that is bolted to the motor that is between the motor and the transmission, then you have the flex plate that is bolted to the motor and the torque convertor.

hey man can you send me a pic of this separator plate. i didnt bolt it back on my engine and the shop says because i didnt put it back on, the torque converter crush the pump.

i dont have the plate on the car could that cause the transmission pump to be get crushed?.. also when i was mating the transmission and the engine they would not mate because of the bushing that was in the crank, it bottomed out on it, so i took the bushing out and got it pressed through then put it back in and mated the transmission and engine. now the shop told me that pump is crushed, does the separator plate have anything to do with that? or was it prob the bushing?

ok i did some research, yes your are correct that is a spacer. Now does anyone know the part numbers for the spacer plate for a 1995-1999 7bolt turbo. and the part number for the Crank bushing for a 1995-1998 7bolt turbo
