okay i took my transmission to replace a broken differential and they told me i have a bunch of other problems that will cost $963 dollars to fix it, he gave me a list of what exactly is bad on it and i have no idea what these parts look like so i was wondering if anyone who knows how to rebuild tranmissions would know what these parts look like so i can look on my transmission and see if its just a jip and if they were trying to get money off of me because i looked at all the syncros and gears and they look fine, no teeth are broken or look to be worn and just need some advice.

he told me i needed new bearings, a cluster, a case(i know what this is) and something i cant read its too sloppy but looks like semeonizers??? or simionizers? im not sure but that and bloking rings?? the rest would be labor but someone please help me out im short on cash and need my car back asap.

Also if anyone would like an lsd insert for their 1st gen fwd turbo dsm i have one since i took mine off, i need money......

Worn syncros look and feel smooth on the inside surface. Check the bearing rollers for pits or scratches to see if they are toast. Cluster - this could mean gear cluster but you'll have to be more specific as to which gear, etc.

umm im not sure what cluster, the paper just states cluster but when i get my camera tomorrow ill take pictures just tell me what i should take pictures of and let someone on here look and see if something is wrong, I looked at two syncros, one has a bunch of rigids on the inside and another is pretty smooth, it feels like theirs a sticker on the inside like i can pick it off
