Hey guys. Before my manual swap, I ran poly mounts, since the mount inserts from the turbo cars actually fit the non turbo mounts perfectly. However, the manual transmission mounts have a lower bolt position (about 3/8" difference), while the old school auto mounts had the bolt dead center. Now, they sell the same mounts (with the lower bolt position) for auto AND manual, basically having the auto equipped cars sit 3/8" higher on the transmission side.

So, if I use the poly mount, will running the engine/trans 3/8" lower on the trans side have any negative side effects (such as handling), or is there nothing to worry about if the alignment is set?
