Transfer case Recall

Has anyone bought the recall kit and installed it on there transfer case? Mine is leaking and I have replaced just the seals but i think it might be that yoke and the front driveshaft joint?

I bought the car from another person. so i called the dealer and they said it has already been done. though the signs are the same has if it was not done.

call DSC and speak to some one, because, mine was done before and ive had it done twice , it is under recall as long as the car is drive-able, sence your an eagle owner call 1800-853-1403 and tell them that you've talked to a dealer, give there name and such, and that they will not do the recall again, That your also ready to call the NHTSA. that should do it. Good luck

It doesn't matter. It's a permanent, Federal Safety Recall until the last DSM rots off the face of the earth (which can't be too soon, if you're a dealer).

Oh, and apparently you'll have much better luck with a Chrysler dealer than a Mitsubishi one. I hear tale after tale of Mits dragging their feet and trying to sidestep the job. Effers.
