Hello All,
I have a quick question. As some of you know, my transmission is going. I have come across a 95 Talon AWD with an auto trans, will this tansmission fit on my 95 GS?
Thanks
Chris

No, it wont fit.

edit: do you have a euro gs ort a US gs?

she is a US GS. What are my options then
Thanks
Chris

Options are slim out there.....that US GS motor should be a 420a motor, with the intake assembly on the driver side.....instead of the intake being on the passenger side in the case of the 4g63 motor and subsequently that 95 Talon AWD you came across.

the 420a GS tranny are getting harder to come by, but it must be so hard to find one in Europe.

You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find here in Germany. I spoke with a mechanic about a rebuild and told me it would be about 2000 euros or 2777 dollars. Does this sound right? Is there anyone in this forum that lives in germany that could help me out?
Thanks
Chris

I vote Raph for convenience and practical reasons.

I think finding it in a Neon may open your options. Although the Neon is a Dodge therefore American so I'm not sure how many you see around Germany.
