Ok i have a '97 n/t, i currently have intake, exhasut w/ no cat, header 4-1. It is an auto tranny and my question is if the following would be a good idea?

Get a used manual tranny ($??) and send it to shep racing for a basic rebuild ($895.00), have it installed ($??). What other things would i need? Clutch, flywheel, pedals ???

Shep doesn't work on automatics as far as I know. I'm sure that the price of $895 is for a manual, automatics are more expensive than that when built properly.
