Alright guys I've been looking and looking but I can't find a tutorial or forum on removing the transmissionn fron a 2g fwd, it doesn't seem like it would be be hard but I want to make sure I do it right without messing something up. I would continue to look but I'm running out of time I gotta get the tranny out tomorrow so i f you guys can justdirrect me to a forum or tutorial or even a video that would be great thanks in advance guys.

Go to YouTube and search Jafromobile. His channel has a whole series of videos dedicated to transmission tech.

Thank me later.

I think youll be surprised. Its really not that hard. The hardest part is getting the tranny back in but if yuve got an extra set of hands, its not bad either.

Like they said^ its really not that hard to do mine is awd so it involved a few more steps but basically its just unbolting things and removing them the hardest part is getting it lined back up to bolt it in me and my dad both did mine and it was still pretty difficult to do i would recommend using a jack to raise the trans up to get it aligned and get the first bolt in to hold it

My buddy and I did my transmission and I am only 17. My biggest tip is make sure you label the bolts and take pictures of how things were before you removed them. Mine was awd so it was a bit more of a pain and also make sure you have a few buddies with you makes it easier to lift and line up. Just like kalub said jafromobile is very helpful his videos are really good and informative.
