tranny question

Hey everyone i was wandering if any one with a non turbo has put a turbo tranny in thier 2g n/t i know they will fit and are geared different but is there any downsides to it and if someone has do you feel any diference in the acceleration in it thanks

i heard it from a mechanic at a local shop near me in maryland

They are two totally different motors. The 4G63 tranny won't mesh with our 420A motors.

Stay as far away from that place as you can. He has no idea what he's talking about. Putting the 4G63 tranny into a 2GNT and retaining the 420A is even less intelligent than suggesting the engien swap.
