Well the proper way is to use NEW flywheel bolts, have loctite red on the threads prior to installation, and torque them to spec.

If the bolts started backing out, it could have had the flywheel do some nasty stuff. A warped flywheel is not too common, unless abused or improperly resurfaced. Otherwise, you should be looking back at the crank for balancing issues, clutch/flywheel balancing issues, or improper installation.

By 69 miles, I would really hope that you mean the engine rebuild has 69 miles on it....:thumb: If that is the case, then I would like to know if the rotating assembly was balanced along with the clutch assembly/rotating assembly being balanced together.

I would speak to whoever did the engine rebuild for more information.

As well, please provide us with more of a history/backround of the car and the most recent repairs/modifications that led up to this point.

Good luck,

Not to hijack, but does ARP make bolts to replace the ones holding the flywheel?

Yes they do, but it isn't really worth it. The mitsu ones are more than capable when NEW and torqued to spec with loctite red.

I had one holding everything on...Thats why my flexplate snapped into pieces..

It was ###### just installed incorrectly.

Like said. use new bolts and locktite.
