i just spent the day taking my car apart after noticing an oil leak. i suspect the rear main seal is the reason.
anyways, my tranny is a 7bolt mounted to a 6 bolt block. i've taken these these bolts off so far and wondering if i missed any.
2 top bolts
2 starter bolts
1 bolt by slave cylinder
for a total of 5. i also noticed that there was a missing bolt on the back by one of the screws on the flywheel inspection cover. i'll need to find another bolt to fit that when i put everything back. i thought i read somewhere that for people who do 1g in a 2g you will use one less bolt when mounting up the tranny. is tht correct?
