hi

can any one describe the 4 bolts that hold the motor and transmission together? I asked this question before and my guess is I only have 2. I just need to know what head size they are and/or length.

I don't know if it is any different on a 1g, but i wouldn't think so. But on mine there were two on top, 2 in front, and one on the back underside if I remember right.

there 4 sizes total........the two shortest i believe either a 17mm 0r 15mm go on top....the third bolt that has the same head size as the two on top but longer goes in the front dowel spot and the smaller bolt goes in bottom rear dowel spot. the two bolts for the starter are exactly the same i believe they were a 14mm..

i just pulled my awd trans and about a min ago put it back in.

Hopefully this helps.

does any body know how to take that damn speedometer out of the trans? Ive tried screwing it out (towards the left) but the part where the bolt goes into is hitting part of the trans. do you twist it to the right?

which part screwed off? did you just twist it to the left or right? i need a vice grip to be able to turn mine

standing infront of car twist to left to break loose and of course teist right to tighten..maybe spray some wd40 on her
