Tranny Apart

Any ever open up there tranny before? Well I opened mine and there is this plastic stick inside there. Anyone know what it's for? Mine cracked and broke.

I guess no one knows the answers but the pros. Well I emailed John Shepard and he said that the platic stick is used to help oil get to the 5th gear. There's the answer incase anyone ever needed to know what it is. If anyone ever opens their tranny, they'll know what I'm talking about. It's the only plastic piece in the tranny and one of the first things you will see when you starting taking the tranny apart.

it's an oil guide .. I bought a new one at my local dealer for the hell of it. It's like $5.
