Ok for the past couple of weeks now i have had no 4th gear when i go to shift into it it will go in then i let the clutch out and give it a lil gas and it pops out but all other gears are fine.
Now for the clutch i was out at the dragstrip tonight and on the first run it slipped going into 3rd then i ran again and it slipped into 2nd and 3rd and it just got worse from there i hace an act2100 with the 4 puck (it was cheaper than organic street disc). DO you think that from going from 3rd to 5th all the time has worn out the clutch or something. I have a spare tranny in my garage so i think next weekend i am going to be swapping it out for the one in there and if its not any better hopefully the parents will kick in for a rebuild but when i take the tranny off im going to check the clutch and i dont want to wait a whole week with out my car and have 2 drive the van so do you think the clutch is shot?? If it is im going to order the organic street disc. Btw i changed the clutch 3 months ago because the stock one shatterd is my tranny killing clutches. i prolly put no more than 2000 miles on it sience then.

its proly the way ur driving it that made ur clutch slip, clutches usually go up to 50g miles before they wear
