In a week or so I'm going to tackle my suspension, replacing the front and rear control arm bushings with Energy Suspension and upgrading shocks/struts/springs to AGX's and Prokit's. The one area where I'm having concern is the trailing arm. I'm really not wanting to take it out the axle,I would rather just undo the control arms, then the eccentric bolt and replace the bushings. I'm really hoping that the eccentric bolt isn't welded on the bushing insert. I'm going to start spraying Liquid Wrench on the bolts now until I start(prob a week or so). How much of a pita is it? Anyone have any tips?

The bushing you should have for the rear trailing arm is the one that the eccentric goes through. Also you'll have the upper and lower arms. Mark your eccentric marks on both bolts and pull them along with the lower. Remove your parking brake cable and caliper along with the swaybar endlink. You can work with the trailing arm and rear arms together. As far as I know there is not a bushing for the active toe link. Only an eliminator kit. After you're done with your suspension you'll need an alignment. Marking the eccentrics will help you get the car to where it was.

Glad to know I don't have to take everything apart. It looked possible in the Hayne's manual but I wasn't sure. The active toe is a little down the arm, right?

Edit:I looked up active toe,and found the Jay Racing eliminator kit. Looks like something I might be interested in someday, but not right now. I was curious as to where it was at.
