So take out the rubber to? And that golden piece and clean everything? Dammit such a pain to take out LOL

Just tap the golden sleeve out and press the rubbers together. It shouldn’t be that hard. Once it’s in, then put the sleeve in

The whole bushing is one unit so that is how i pressed it it first the rubber and then the sleeve but the it starts to stretch the rubber :(

Yup mine was the same. So if you put it on the outside, it’s the correct length? And when you put the sleeve in, it stretches the rubber?

If that’s the case, leave the sleeves in the freezer over night and put them in ASAP when you take it out of the freezer.

Good way to crack the bushing. Ask me how I know.

If the arm is cleaned up and everything is lubed I don't see a problem. I didn't have this issue with energy suspension. That grease is nasty.

You put the metal sleeve in the freezer and cracked the bushing??? Did you put the rubber isolator in the freezer also? Yeah this isn’t a hard bushing to replace.

I have cleaned them out i notice it was alot of old rubber stuck on the surface so i need to clean it it better and freeze the sleeve? Sorry guys it is my fist time doing this on this car LOL i hope u guys understand

That’s probably why. Might not need to freeze the sleeve if that’s where it was getting hung up

Sorry misread that. Bushing. Freezing the sleeve isn't a terrible idea. If the sleeve is greased up well it should slide in easy

Yeah you can't leave that old crud behind. You can use a wire brush and get it all out. Maybe even a skinny wire cup brush on a drill. The arm needs to be clean.

All clean now so press it in the bushing gently with silicone and then take the sleeve and silicone it and press that in too?
