When I assembled my shortblock I torqued the rod bolts to 14.5 ft lbs then did a 90* turn. I recently found a service manual online, and it said 16 ft lbs and then a 90* turn. I now have the head, timing compenents (not belt), front case, and exhaust/intake mani on. Is there going to be any harm in loosening them and retorqing them correctly?

****EDIT****

I was looking at the main bearing caps, and not the rod bearing caps. So I'm good to go! Phew!
