Torque converter help

Last time i test fit it went in tight and I sanded and lubed it is that how it's suppose to be.

Was that test fit with the new convertor? I remember you saying you did it with the older one that wasn't the right one.
It should spin freely before you slide it into the crank bushing.
Once you line up the bolt holes with the pads on the tc, inch it into the crank bushing. It should still be easy enough to turn to line the holes up. There's no reason to turn it more then an inch once you have the holes lined up.
I guess I'm confused on why you need to turn more.

No the old one I haven't had a chance to do it with the new t.c. I was only asking cause this is my first auto and am unsure .

Transmissions is in ! It was spinning smoothly,then I bolted up t.c. And The 1/2 gap between the t.c. Mounting pads pulled together when I tightened the bolts . Everything seems to be good I hope.

Sounds good. You will have a tough time turning the tc once you bolt it up. At that point, your tc and crank are now one.
