Can anyone help me to find out how much one will cost and what the heck it is? The guy wants 2000.00 for his, is it worth it? It has a lot of mods, but this torque converter is confusing me

you obviously know nothing about the price of car parts. i think that is a good price for one... i have seen some that are 1,500 plus.

If you are looking for a stock converter you can get on for around $175.

Also, there is an auto trans section in this forum now, you might get better responses to this type of question there.

Also, if a converter is bad, there is usually something going on in the trans too.
