Ok so I accidently closed my hatch with something between it and the roof. It bent the corner of my hatch downward and cracked the paint. I would like to know what the paint code for the black on the top half of the car. I know its a black but if I look closely it has a bit of metallic in it... So if anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it.

You could always use google, or the search feature on the forums. Im sure this question has to have been asked and answered before. Good luck with your answer :)

It could be X-13 .. code for Kalapana Black Clearcoat-the common color of black for most of the 1G's of the 1990 - to 94 era.

You can also head to this site for more color code options: PaintScratch Touch Up Paint, Spray Cans, Spray Paint, Paint Pens, Car Paint ... it's pretty accurate to get codes so you can get your paints locally .. and best use PPG paints.

I've got the same black top only I have the body color on the pillar (being a R-33 "Raspberry Red Clearcoat") band of my vehicle. (Why Plymouths went with a black top and kept the pillar the body color, for the car was originally designed to have a smoked laminated glass roof, but the idea never got past production, but the idea of the black top remained...)

Good luck - DSM

I have searched but I get generic codes, Would the same black be used on the roof and piller as lets say the black body color. The reason I posted is to make sure, I dont want to get a different shade and end up re painting my entire car...
