Top blue white headlight bulb brands?

Anyone put the Sylvania Silverstar replacement headlights in?? I was thinking about swapping mine out for the silverstars. 9005 for high and 9006 for low, correct.

I have them and they are great, they put off a nice white light, and alot cheaper than the other lights out there.

I have Sylvania's HID kit on my SUV and they are awsome. I had their Silverstar's on my truck prior and they were real good lights.

Are you talking about a real HID Conversion kit $350-$1000? Or are you talking about bulb replacements. I don't know your likes/dislikes or expenses, but on Ebay they have some great HID conversion kits (Real HID lights not bulbs) for $350 or $370.

Normal lights are 3500 Kelvans
White/Pure White HID are 6000 Kelvans
Purple looking lights are 6500 or 7000 Kelvans
Blue looking HID Lights are 8000 Kelvans

Just something to think about. I think (IMO) HID lights are the best and for $350 plus installation why not get the best that you can, plus put more light on the road and they only use 35watts of power as opposed to regular bulbs using 55watts of power. In addition they look cooler and more modern, especially on a 2G DSM car.

i got them for my car a couple weeks ago and love them.. they are really white and are alot better than stocks and have a better look than the blue.. i recomend them..

They honestly sell them at all rice boy shops such as pep boys, auto zone. But they are really good lights and would recommend them. There like 25$ a bulb.

i got mine at pep-boys (i was only there cuz i had to get some oil) but besides that they arelike 50 dollars a pair.. personally i think they are worth it.. but thats my opinion..

I had piaa's before and they burnt my headlight harness i would never buy them again.

sorry to whore but,

IMO hiper industries makes osme awesome bulbs i have had in all 3 of my cars, i love them, so much brighter and bluer (sp? ) than others!

I'm going to buy a set soon, I know it's ricey and I know I'm anti-rice, but I figure hell, its only a few bucks.

i dont think its rice unless you have headlights that are not clear if you guys know what i mean (like the sqaure headlights everyone and there dog has), i mean clear by not "braile looking" like ours on the 2g's are just clear lenses, and i think if you have clear lenses you should have white headlights, even clear corners, it looks alot better and cleaner in my opinion.....

anyone know if i can change these bulbs out in the 2g eclipse fog lights and make them white as well? what bulb number? is it even possible?

1gb's - Yes.

If you're 1gb, I'd also recommend the aftermarket clear lenses or polishing your OEM lenses out, as our cars are getting up there in age, and clouded plastic can make a big impact on your light output.

Also, I'd recommend the 9005-mod as well.

I've noticed a significant increase in light output, and have yet to get ANY oncoming traffic flashing their brights at me.

If you really want the brightest lights, get the Silverstars HIGH beam set. With a Dremmel and about 2 minutes of your time you will have VERY bright, white lights (65W vs. 55W). They don't seem to produce any more glare than the low beams just more light. I always get asked if I have a HID conversion.

What manf do you guys use that their bulbs dont pop ? I want a set of hyper whites for my 2G. My 2nd pair went and i want to know if there is a better manf that maks the hyper whites ?

Well some very popular bulbs for the 2g are the Sylvania Silverstar. They run for about 40 dollars a pair but are worth it. They give off a nice white, not yellow or anything. Also what do you mean by pop? Did you touch the bulbs with your hand while installing them because that could cause them to go out sooner then usually.
