To paint or not to paint...

Need your guys' opinion.

Should I spraypaint my rims back to the original color (silver with polished lip?)

Here's a pic of my car with them now... I spraypainted them black before but am thinking about going silver again.

Black rims all the way bro! Youve got the stealth look going on. If you paint them it'll look ike a girls car IMHO.

I also like them black, Are they gloss? I like mine alot better since i've done them gloss black too. I think they look alot better.

They have lost most of their shine, mostly on the inner part of the rim. ( For instance, picture that the rim is spinning. The part of the spoke [inner part] that makes most contact with wind/dirt etc etc. If you look at it from the side it looks a bit brown. I used like 2 coats of primer, 4 coats of gloss black, and then 3 coats of clear.

I used Krylon, btw.

Yeah but how long did it last b4 you could notice discolorization? Personally, the black on black look is really hot. Id sand em down and hit em w/ the same process again.

i just painted my rims gunmetal and they look great, go for it!

id say go back to silver. it just looks a whole lot more "class" to your car. i personally hate black cars with black rims cause it looks to "honduh hatchey" to me, all them dam honduh's have either gunmetal or black rims and its so ugly. add some class to your car.

btw i personally loved the chrome on red that it used to be.

If you want the best of both worlds just rub the faces of the spokes back to silver and leave the rest black????? if you are going to repaint anyway try it>
