to much boost!!! help

I got my turbo kit done and every is great except the fact im getting to much boost and my boost gauge is not working. I ran a vacuum line of the turbo to the waste gate. I put a t fitting on the line and ran it to my boost gauge and then ran one line from the boost controller to the bottom side of the waste gate. How can i fix these two problems.

Oh I would just go to the 420a guys, but for some reason I can't make a post there.

where did you tap your boost gauge into? External or internal gate?

First, disconnect the boost controller. Do you know the psi rating of the WG spring/ actuator? Then, the boost gauge is supposed to tell you manifold pressure. Run the gauge off the intake mani. If you have an external wastegate you should have the line from the compressor going to the bottom nipple, for an internal actuator put that line in the top nipple.

Tee your boost gauge off of an intake manifold source. You Don't want it hooked up between your actuator and compressor housing. So if your guage is not working, how do you know your overboosting?

It has a 5lb spring in it and it pretty much cuts off at about 6k rpms and stops building. So i need to just run a straight line from the turbo to the bc and then to the external waste gate??

if it has a 5 lb spring in it, your only going to see aroung 10ish psi.
