Tires fitting w/out problems

Alright, I'm trying to figure out what tire size to go with the new rims I'm buying. I'm looking at some 17"x7.0" motegi mr7's, and then possibly 4 nitto 555zr 225/40/17 tires. I read the tire guide, I'm just making sure this is the right size to look for/price check. I'm looking for good street handling, thats why I dont think I'll need 235's. Will the 225's fit without rubbing/clearance issues?

The will fit just fine as long as the offset on the wheel is correct.

They should also fit with no issues.

Consider going with 225/45/17 which are closer to stock diameter, and a perfect for a 7 inch wheel. Go with the the smaller height 225/40/17 if you want some torque and don't care about wheel gap and rough terrain.

235's are too wide for 7 inch wheels. I doubt you can find a manufacturer that recommends them for anything less than 7.5 inches.
