got a 1g DSM AWD with FNO1RC's 17"x8" with a +43 offset i think. Street/Strip car but I like to feel secure on twisty roads. Also going to be using it on the track.

right now i have 255/40/17's all the way around, cant get a perfect alignment with these big tires on stock suspension. little bit to big but i got the tires for cheap. i had 235/40/17's before and thought they were a little small, has anyone tried 245/35's or 245/40's ? im thinking of going that direction. suspension wise im going for coilovers, either the D2's or K-sports. i wanna have the wheel gap almost non existant. so what does everyone think on this ?

I'm on the same setup, only I'm lowered about 2" and have a 1gb (if theres any difference there I'm not sure, offset wise). 235/45 is as big as will fit mine. And there is only a few mm's between the front rubber and the struts. Rear is fine. It's the 43 thats the problem (But the deal was too good to pass up) if they had of been 35-38's or so it would be better for wider tires. 255's are huge, and would need to stick out past the wheel wells, I don't think you're going to have any luck stuffing them in there, with those rims and slamming.
