tin foil on hood...I meanheat sheat whaterver do I need it????

Ok for you 2g guys (and 1g guys that have it) the silver crap on the hood, do I need it? Cause Im sure it can shave a pound or two and may make my quiet ass car a little louder. I figure since cf hoods dont have one that I dont need it. I m just looking to shave a few pounds off(plus my greddy type s already torn up one part of it. Thanks

if you are that die hard about loosing weight you mine as well not wear shoes or clothing when you drive you will loose at least 2 pounds there. haha just messin. The engineers wouldnt have put it there for nothing and it cant weigh more than a pound if that so I would just leave it.
