i have my lower and upper timming belt cover missing. i di have a balance

elimination kit but if any of the other 2 belts pops; could they get in the way of

the timming belt and trash my engine? how much of an emergency it is that i

get the covers installed?

thanks in advance

I would put a lower timing cover on ASAP! As far as the top cover goes, people have different opinions about it. Personally I have mine off. Its a good thing I have kept it off because last week i noticed i was missing a tooth on my 5k old timing belt. Pulled the belt and noticed allot of defects. If I would have had the cover on I would have never of seen it.
