timing question

so i just got a datalogger the other day and i ran a few pulls playing around and i look at my timing and im getting about 25-35 degrees through the the whole pull in a smooth curve. keep in mind i havent tuned this at all. how is this?

Somethings wrong if your getting 35 degrees of timing, or your really not at WOT.

Ya, check your TPS and see if your at WOT. You might need to adjust it a bit.

ah ill look into that stuf. how do u get data from the data logger to the pc.. ill post my data. i use the palm pocketlogger.

Adjusting the TPS won't change the amount of timing you get at WOT.

I'm sure he was just looking at the timing advance when he wasn't at full boost, not a big deal. It's not possible to get 35 degrees at WOT unless you're a non-turbo.

You need to download the PLViewer program to get the logs onto your PC.

The ECU won't be able to know the TB is at WOT if the TPS is not calibrated correctly. Check your throttle cable also, it may just be too loose to pull the TB all the way open to WOT.
