Two things I noticed immediately with that log... First, either your foot was not planted all the way down during the log, or your TPS is seriously screwed up. It should be reading at or somewhat close to %100 at full throttle. Second, your log only goes up to 4900 rpm. In order to really see any kind of valuable information, especially about peak timing, you'll need to wind it up to at least 6500 and 7000 rpm if at all possible.

Perhaps it was because he was logging 4th gear, and by those rpms in 4th you are already going above the speed limit. Try keeping it in 3rd and just do a solid pull till around 6500rpms or so. Personally timing looks to be pretty decent to me. Around 5000rpms you should see roughly 10* peak if you are on the stock fuel system on a 2g. However as mentioned to get a full idea of timing, wind out 3rd gear till 6500rpms or so on your setup. If you're on the stock fuel system it should peak around somewhere around 16*

well im planning on a 3rd gear pull tomorrow cuz i couldnt do one today cuz of the rain. I get wheel spin in 3rd in the rain at wot at 5500. I cant remember if i was on it the whole time or not. I am gonna make 2 good pulls on dry tarmac LOL I reading up on timing and everything tonight. I didnt think i was knocking anyways but didnt hurt to ask u guys. i post the log tomorrow.

Thanx Guys
