timing belt question help me plz

ok i just put a new timing belt and balance shaft belt on and i took the balance shaft bolt out and inserted a screwdriver to see if its alinged right according to all the timing markings and on the vfaq http://www.vfaq.com/mods/timingbelt-1G.html the vfaq states if a screwdriver is inserted in the bs plug bolt hole 2.4 inches or 60 mm deep its alinged properly. well i inserted a screwdriver all the way in 6 inches. if the inserted dept is less than 25 mm its not aligned properly. so if i can insert a screwdriver 6 inches in is it ok? btw i dont have the special tool to put proper tension on the timing belt so what is best way to put the right amount of tension on it? all the timing markings line up and the marking on the harmonic balancer pully is dead on the 0 tdc on the cover. for 2.0 1g turbo engine 6 bolt

did ya rotate it 6 times,,let it sit 15 min and re-check is they all line up ?
for the auto tention.. ya just check the gap between the body of theautotentioner and the tentioner arm.
